Science with Mandy

My name is Mandy and I am a postbaccalaureate researcher in a biochemistry and molecular biology lab in Maryland, just outside DC! I love my job and discovering things in the lab that have never been discovered before. Outside of the lab, I like to run (I am currently training for a half marathon!), read, and watch movies (especially horror). I absolutely love science, and as a former Neuroscience major, I especially love studying the nervous system. I want this blog to show people the joys of science and maybe even spark a future interest in pursuing a career in science!
