My name is Mandy and I just recently completed a postbac research position in a molecular and cell biology lab in Maryland, just outside DC! I love research and discovering things in the lab that have never been discovered before. Outside of the lab, I like to run and weightlift, bake, read, and watch movies (especially horror). I absolutely love science, and as a former Neuroscience major, I especially love studying the nervous system. I’m currently applying to medical school and hope to become a neurosurgeon one day! I want this blog to show people the joys of science and maybe even spark a future interest in pursuing a career in science or medicine!
